If you don’t want her here because you believe she will be a threat to the safety to Britain and its citizens, then surely she’d also be a potential threat wherever she was. Arguably far more so as British intelligence wouldn’t be able to so easily track her or have any control over her whatsoever.

True, but she's less of an issue for more of the citizenry if she's not in the country.

I can see astonbuilder's point on this one and sympathise with it. I think the best way to view it is that although she's been through some tough times thanks to her decision to go to Syria, her case will hopefully act a s deterrent to others thinking of doing similar things. So hopefully some good will come of it even if not for her.

One thing anyone thinking of doing similar things needs to remember is "don't do it if you are or can be a citizen of another country - because you'll likely be told to sod off there instead of being allowed back".

You’re applying your mature thoughts and logic to that of a Censored up, poorly educated 15 year old girl whose parents are immigrants and lived in Bethnal Green, which has the highest child poverty rate in the UK.

Do any of you really believe that had she not be radicalised and groomed she’d have consented to be a victim of forced marriage and sexual exploitation in Syria?

Some of the posts on this topic are simply perpetuating the myth that child victims of grooming, coercion and exploitation have themselves to blame and therefore do not deserve humanity and support.

Ivan, so you believe all 15 year olds have fully matured brains, sufficient life experience, are not easily influenced or led astray by others intent on radicalising and exploiting them and fully capable of assessing all such situations?

Interesting, as that ls the opposite of my experience of teenagers. Thumbs Up

That's the trouble with todays society, people no longer take responsibility for their actions and are supported in that stance by people like yourself. Always making excuses for things instead of taking responsibility.

So you don’t be believe that a 15 year old child can be groomed, coerced or radicalised? In your opinion they are to blame for not taking responsibility for their actions.

I’m the opposite, I see them as the victim and the perpetrators are those doing the grooming.

So if a 15yr old, murders, say a teacher, then we can pull out the victim card. Maybe another gang member. That's quite common at the moment.....

Maybe that 15 year old was groomed, coerced or radicalised. If so are they also the victim?

So crime is okay if your groomed..... I give you a new set of trainers if you stab that kid (grooming?)
So crime is okay if your coerced..... Go on I dare you....
So crime is okay if your radicalised......Go on he or she, maybe them, a non believer........

Let her rot where she is.

If she 'came home' she would obviously be housed by the state and live the rest of her days on benefits, as clearly at the age of 15 being unable to understand right from wrong, or even what is acceptable and unacceptable, she hasn't the skills to fill up supermarket shelves, let alone anything else.

Who would employ her anyway?

I do recall not long after she went, she commented that she didn't see anything wrong with 'be-heading' people.

Actions have consequences.

And, as noted in the original post, 16 year olds are considered old enough to vote and old enough to decide on life changing subjects such as gender change………..seems they have the best of both worlds 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

15 is, at the very best, a grey area (IMHO).

At 16 they can join the armed forces (ie the UK), get to procreate and, up here, they get to vote. Some 15yr olds are more mature than others, whilst there are some who I wouldn't trust to get dressed on their own (I have three children, the youngest of which was 15 last week). However mature they might be, they are (generally) old enough to know the difference between right and wrong.
