I asked the seller on Tuesday. He said they are cast aluminium, but a release agent is used during casting which is what gives it the dull silver look on the top of the manifolds.
We've agreed a price and he is shipping them out to me today!

Hi All,
(I have never wrote an in-depth review before so if I have missed anything, please ask questions!)
So after placing the order with the seller on Friday Morning, I received them on Sunday which was very impressive.
Packaging:
The manifolds are exellently packaged. Separate boxes for each side, each having their own custom cut hi-density foam, and a sheet of foam on top, no movement at all. I think delivery drivers could kick/drop/throw the boxes as hard as they like and not cause any damage to the manifolds.
Manifolds:
They are definitely cast aluminium, made in two halfs. They surprised me how heavy, and completely ridgid they are compared with OEM ones, which do deform when twisting opposite corners. There is no movement on these.
There was a little bit of loose aluminium snot which needed cleaning up on the underside of the manifold as did not want that falling off onto the rockers, minimal effort with some light sandpaper and brake cleaner sorted that out so just a caution to check them before installing them.
The manifolds includes all fixing bolts and the gasket which looks and feels identical to the victor reinz pair I have at home, however there was no markings on the gasket to confirm this.
I was even surprised it even included the clips that the timing cover bolts into.
Overall:
I will be going ahead and replacing my manifolds with these ones as they are very well made, and will improve this engines reliability. I don't believe that these will suffer any type of fatigue from heat / pressure cycles.
Seeing these manifolds really makes me wonder why JLR / FoMoCo decided to go with plastic for any other reason apart from cheaper manufacturing costs.
I would highly recommend these to anyone thinking about replacing their intake manifolds, and thanks to the seller for the fast shipping.

They look a very nice item. Bit out of my budget but the photos are handy….gives me a clue about what holds mine on!

I have messaged the seller on ebay several times, seems very genuine. I have no reason to return the manifolds as they are as described and dont see any reason why they wouldn't perform as expected.

I agree, can't return anything without major hastle anymore, however ebay support are good as have had dealings with them in the past from dodgy sellers and they have always resolved my issue.

Out of interest what is the face side where the gasket fits like - was it machined or left unfinished like the inside of the casting?
I will be interested to hear what the fit of the oil pourer is like to the metal manifold as the britpart cast nylon part was terrible and really looseMust stop buying shiny toys....

Good question. They aren’t machined but it is a tidy face don’t see any reason for a leak.

I’ve just tried to pull the oil fill neck off my car to test it on the new manifolds and it doesn’t seem to come off. Does it twist off?

There is a little tag on the filler that, if you gentle tease up over the notch on the manifold plastic you can turn it to undo it. when you refit the tag just clicks back over the notch to secure it.

As mentioned my Aftermarket Britpart inlet was terribly loose against the filler, Rimmers tried a couple of them and they were the same so replaced it with a Genuine one, which was nice and tight.Must stop buying shiny toys....

I admit to a little jealousy of those!
I am fitting mine when they arrive, shout up if you have any issues as i have just taken mine off and all is still fresh in my mind. No massive issues just some right tight fiddling with the brackets and bolts at the bulkhead end.
