ok well i treated myself to a 278 whic arrives today hopefully!
I got the mapping details ok
just wondered if the same maps exist for Faroes ... guess not being so small

BGAN hahaha .....  I have my 3G/GPRS data card so maybe at least if I am in phone coverage I will be ok .... so some of the days I am sure I can check in!
IC7000 and antennas are all installed ... I have my APRS also installed now too ! .... TMD-700
fixed the mount on for the CB antenna - thanks! 
looking good ..... just doing final packing .. picked up an awning on saturday and some carbines so I can clip it on the roof rack ..... that will be useful if it rains.... ! 
So just about there!
would be good to have an HF- HF G4-G4 link up
