What are the two circular dials each side of the gear level which look like mini i-drive controllers? Are they for the display, or is that still touch screen?

I heard that there's no oil dipstick or drainplug, the oil level displays on the message screen or some such.I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?
CY, There's 12v sockets low down (between the gearstick and TR knob) is that what you meant?
The two higher up (either side of the central AC control) are the temperature selectors, if you look at some of the official pics you'll see they light up to display the temperature selectedThe End

You buy 1... 1 very versatile family car that you can use for caravan holidays lugging stuff, lugging people, adventuring, shopping, having fun!
Then you buy another car to take the kids to school in!
(My kids walk to school BTW).
It's all getting a bit boring now TBH. Limp-minded thickos repeating stuff they hear without adding anything constructive of their own.
AAAAAAAAAgh!
Calm...
...be calm.
Long weekend now.

Does it look odd that the terrain response stuff is all off-center?
Do you think they forgot it until the last moment - it'll never be needed in the city?

No, if it was in the centre, the gear lever would obstruct it. A well thought out design

They moved the cupholders back in a position where you you'd have to feel around for your drink. It was like that in my previous Hyundai Santa Fe. Hated it as I couldn't see where the drink was without physically looking around which meant taking eyes for the road.
Still better than the D2, used to switch the air con off every time I put a cup back in.
