Perhaps after all the problems with burnt out clutches on the 2.7 they do not think the extra power/torque from the 3.0 is possible through a clutch or they do not want all the warranty worries. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Looks like two seats only. What is happening to carrying 3 child seats on the 2nd row?

I hope that's wrong - one of the reasons I have the D3 is because three adults (ok, teenagers) can sit comfortably in the 2nd row with everyone having a full seat! Don't mind if they want to do that for top of the range model - but please not for all! That would be enough reason to stay D3 for me ...

Why on earth do we think there are only 2 seats in the second row ?? pictures on previous pages of this thread clearly show the centre and off-side seats 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

...and it looks like someone else is worried about the disco's slab sided view since the colour coding design fail...
There's very few full shots of the side, and what you can see is disguised by clever reflections or drawn on pieces of wire??? These are actual screen shots - but I guarantee they'll try to claim it's just a coincidence when shooting the film!

Top picture I'll grant is a bit strange for a launch photo, (wasn't that one released before the launch?) but then there's so much barrel distortion on that wide lens, you wouldn't spot the shape anyway. The bottom picture just confirms my point - look at that reflected line halfway down the doors!
I'm not saying I hate the look, or that I wouldn't like to buy one, just that the people making the movie didn't do those things by accident, and someone is aware of the design shortcomings since making everything body coloured. But then they're all paid (lots) to make the car look it's best so I'm not criticising at all.

crewscontrol has a really valid point......every shot of the side view has been photoshopped to break up the slab. Look at the shadows on the bottom of the doors below the crease and above the sill.....they ahve been added in to make the doors look shallower and less slab.
Not a criticism, nor do I think that the grass roots engineers and styling guys who are part of the Land Rover ethos are responsible. It's probably the work of some outside agency who do "style".2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE

They should have rectified the wheelarches with a two tone paint job.
Bumpers and wheelarches, in the same colour, but one or two shades darker, to create a shadow effect.
They would still have the premium finnish and proportions would be much better.
Now it looks like the empire state building on wheels.
I do think the new headlights and grill are a winner.
The new taillights only look good on the lighter colours.
They should have slightly smoked the new lenses so it would look good on all colours.05 TDV6 HSE AUTO 7seats, tonga green/alpaca, alpine roof, privacy glass, tow kit, wood kit, 20" stormers n summer, 18" in winter, fancy exhausts, rear seat ent., club fooked turbo!
