The lack of interest is simple. The discounts on the table are simply not big enough to warrant the hassle of a group buy. I mean a broker offers more so why do your own? Jean-Paul

NeilD, I haven't recently looked as the supply chain is not good enough before January and I don't want black....So now I'm hanging in to see what's going to happen as a counter action regarding the VAT increase...
We've had this conversation earlier in the thread about the 12-15 range which you said were/are pre-registered cars...But since there are no (well not that I am aware off) cars available I'm doubtful how that works... Jean-Paul

I've been offered this d4 new
3.0 hse auto
DVD rear entertainment
tv
privacy
heated steering wheel
tow pack
running boards
cameras
black with almond
my 08 hse auto with 23k. £20k on 0% to change.
What do we reckon, fair deal? It's not up with motorlogix on discount but trade in seems decent enough.

Neil - Have you had any further recent interest in a group buy?
I'm looking to place an order - but could wait for a short while if there is any prospect of a >5% discount looming. D4 XS MY12 Galway

I can get 5%, but am stuggling to get significantly more.
I thought this thread may have prompted a few people to contact you to express potential interest - but presume not from your post. D4 XS MY12 Galway

Supercharged wrote:I've just become a farmer. By joining the NFU you get a voucher for 5% off a new Land Rover ... including the D4. That's worth nearly £2.5k on a HSE ...
Anyone know when this is due to end? Vouchers issued last month showed 5% with an expiry of April 2010 , yet the NFU website now indicates the offer ends on 31/12/09! - obviously other than for stock vehicles, orders are (I think) now into 2010 builds anyway!
Have NFU/LR retrospectively changed the deadline, even for vouchers already issued

I've tried with three different dealer groups and couldn't even get to 5%, the answer was nearly always the same...We don't have the vehicles, it is a factory order and the moment we can get our allocation we can sell it....Why would we discount?
However with motorlogix I do seem be getting an 11% discount of a dealer supplied brand new vehicle, considering the VAT increase and the current erratic delivery timelines that will be a net discount of 8.5% after the VAT increase.... Jean-Paul
