Ray, could you send Neil all plans, dimensions and details of materials used for your tree sliders and any interested customers you may have in the pipeline? Very Happy

This isnt about that finding out what others do as that's is easy enough if you want to find out.

Its purely a question learning more about the subject for me and many other people as there has been confusion. This thread has been a great discussion recently, please lets not take it down another back stabbing route please. Thumbs Up

I have not seen 'Tree Sliders' with out the added Part of Sill Protection - The picture above is Ken's car and that is classified as a Rock Slider with Bars. As per earlier discussions and agreements.

As per your definition Neil, I think you'll find the majority of us will still refer to them as tree sliders The End

Surely from the discussion in this thread, Rock Slider with bars = Tree Sliders

well, dom, if you looked at the start of the thread i DONT KNOW THE DIFERENCE!!! that's why i asked the question..

what followed was a very good / informative/ heated but essentially light hearted discussion about the diference between tree/rock sliders.

RIGHT upto the point where you stepped in... Confused

Snowy, alas not. I'm not gonna get you to read the last 11 pages or so but it was determind that: Tree Sliders was just a 'bar' bolted to the sill. Rock Sliders protect the sill (ie a sill protectors) that can be supplied with or without 'bar'.
