Some tree sliders don't incorporate rock sliders and vice versa ...the one on NWoods disco3 is a combined unit ...the one shown above on the 90 is a tree slider only ..i.e not designed for great upward forces 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Quote:f the Sill Protector has a 'bar' then its a 'Tree Slider', if it doesnt the 'Sill Protector' is a 'Rock Slider'
ok, so say it has the bar,, it's now a tree slider... now you drive over a rock,, does that mean it wont do the job of a rock slider??? one wife.......livid

Yes, but it is possible to get a bar without a sill protector (at least not a beefy one that does any good)...so you can get JUST a tree-slider (the bar) and JUST a rock slider (the sill protector) or a combination thereof.
Oh go on, Simon!
