I made up my own tree sliders , with the bar sticking out more or less the full width of the oem sidesteps i.e a little past the outermost profile of the door ..The bar section is solid 28 mm welded ally.They've saved me a couple of doors by this stage.Not the prettiest looking things but serve a purpose.
I leave them on permanently and they double up as sidesteps.
'Tree Sliders' do not exist for the Discovery 3 or 4
Yes they do. I have some. They started life as side steps, but have been moded and moulded over the months to form a perfectly irregular pair of tree sliders and they work....
....REALLY BADLY!!!

Oh *sigh* Perrrrlease!!!!.
A pure 'Tree Slider' does not existing for the D3/D4 - if it has anything else on it that covers the Sill its a 'Rock Slider'
