What did you use to get the results?
I would change all 4, you know what its like, you fix one and the next one goes, after all they have all done the same time on the car !

used a iid diagnostics
ur right u know, better to change all four , the iid is only bringing up the fault for that one so fingers crossed all the wiring ecu etc should be fine , as i assume otherwise a different fault would come up
as i see quite a few people have had problems with looms , but seems to be just the sensor
thks again

Well I thought I had fixed mine tonight. Both bumpers removed at the weekend and all sensors checked including looms. Looms and sensors were good, just connectors between. All going well until the old man snapped a rear sensor
Replaced the sensor tonight (no bumper removal ) and hey presto I have rear PDC but alas no front.
Just popped out with the IDD tool and all front sensors / sounder working under live values along with "front parking inactive" . CCF is set for both under Parking Aid? No errors. Re-flash?

My IID tool says front right inner and rear left outer being at fault.
I've changed both rear inners, the loom and front left inner.
Just chasing which one fails and it's a bloody faff.
Also, the rear bumper foam that hides them on mine is broken. Anyone know where i can get a replacement for that?
It gave up after one too many off road sessions and broke apart in my hands when i tried to remove it.

my rear outer isn't working either
i don't know if this has anything to do with it, but i noticed on the passenger side, by the back wheel, by the compressor there's a loom that goes next to the handbrake cable
mine has rubbed against the chassis and thought at first it had gone through to the wires but hadn't
had some plastic sleeving i've now put over it, had to slide it up and thought it was better than nothing, at least it can rub against the chassis anymore
i don't know what this loom is, it goes towards the back of the car
only on the off chance if that's also happened to anyone else
couldnt get any pics i'm afraid ,
been trying to get the outer one off at the back, but can't see how it does indeed come out
is there a trick by any chance please
thks

On the instrument panel. Same speaker for the bongs and indicators. Mine is quiet.
Found a post on it but I hate soldering.

thks, reading on here it's a sun sensor and also tells what temp it is inside the car
thought that an extra speaker went in there, mines the base model so as i come across things just interested to see what extras are indeed fitted

no , that one looks like it's behind the instrument panel
where the grill is on top of the dashboard in the middle
assumed it had a speaker that goes in there , as i opened it up and has a wire there but didn't know what it was for
assumed as mines the base model nothing is fitted until u go up a spec
don't get any noise either if i have the indicators on

hi pete
i'm not going to worry about things like this, just nice to know what should go there
that's the main reason i got a base model, so it doesn't have all the bells and whistles as it's my first disco, wishing to start off basic and only add things i will actually use
been trying to get this dam rear outer parking sensor out with removing the bumper
need some longer fingers

Easier to remove the bumper. Once removed its a lot easier as you've already removed all the siezed bolts
