Hi guys
Contacted danhag a few weeks ago even translated it into German in the hope they may answer quicker and it worked. Was just asking them why my unit that had stated pro version on it will not allow me to use the pro software and therefore only burn the fbh for 30mins and not 45mins as I believe the pro software does once programmed that way. Anyway they replied within a couple of days with a copy of my email forwarded to the person who would deal with this problem and come back to me. Yet again surprised they came back to me within a couple of days stating that I should have the pro version and asking what the unit was stating I.e. swbasic and was I was sure it stated this? Obviously I answered this but then dead quiet? Have sent the same email 3 times now but no reply. I have offered in my last email to pay for the pro version module if they could do me some discount due to the original error bu no reply? Strange since all seemed good at first then nothing. I wonder if you could use a cross breed of The BAS system and danhags fan controller would work? Just a thought obviously petes system sounds much better apart from not having fan control which I a great option.
Anyway guys just thought I would keep present owners in the loop I know it's only another 15 min burn on the fbh but on really cold mornings that would be ideal.

Guys forget any after sales backup from Danhag or Carchief I have sent numerous emails and tried to contact them by phone but all you get is silence, but I sent an email enquiring about buying a new kit for the D3 with another email address and got a reply within hours, so it looks like they do not want to know any problems after the have got your money..
Have we any members that live in Berlin that could try to help...

Hi Flack
Yep I thought that was the case myself. Was greeted with an initial good response and as soon as they sussed it was a problem or you wanted something extra from them they went all quiet again.
All i wanted in the end was for them to supply another gsm unit at a discounted price due to the original error that they say they had made? Weird!

I'm very sorry to hear that.
When we had the group buy going and all the installation problems, I was able to contact them, yes it usually took a bit of effort and tries I was always able to get in touch with them and get an answer at the end, as I told you in the PM it seemed like they had some strange working hours. Daniel, when I got hold of him, seemed quite good and willing to help out
I had recently a couple of flight planned to Berlin and was my plan to look them up, unfortunately they have all been cancelled, but still hope to be able to do it in the future

When I try to ring them from the uk none of the numbers seem to be correct, I am sure I am dialling the correct codes 00+49+030 then the number but none seem to connect or I get an answer machine thats sounds like the O2 one..
The unit should still be under warranty as its not 12 months old yet..

Hello all,
I've had a faulty IPCU replaced and am very happy with the service form Daniel at DanHag.
They were moving offices at the end of November/beginning of December and there was a bit of a problem then but the telephone numbers on the web site are OK:
http://danhag.de/index.php?z0=101&z1=1&sprache=de
(that's 0049 - 30 - 555753-63 from England)
It probably helps that I can speak German so if anyone needs any help let me know by pm.

I did eventually get my GSM sorted by sending it back to Germany and they replaced it but trying to get hold of Daniel was very hard and i know he is the only English speaker there.
I kept getting nowhere until I got to him.
Thanks for offer bud will keep it in mind.

Yes, we are open to suggestions for improvments.
We just made a redesign of the PCB which allows the µC to reset the GSM-Modul in case of any malfunction.
Further more, we plan to modify the sw so you can switch the heater via SMS too.

My first suggestion if possible is that when you call, it rings maybe 3 times if the unit is switching ON, and 5 times if switching OFF. This way it is possible to know what state the unit is in remotely.
Let me know if you would like me to test any updated software for you on my module 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
