i,ve just hard wired mine in so as to switch on when i unset alarm and to switch off when i set the alarm works a treat

So what if you are leaving it in a dodgy area and decide to leave the camera on in 'sensor' mode, I guess you have no power to do that when you lock the vehicle

you can run a constant power feed to it if you wanted shouldnt be a problem, but this way suits me i live in a nice area and i dont go into dodgy areas

Plug it into the Traxide system like mine, Geoff can't cos he's waiting for me to fit his Traxide , but can't till he buys an auxiliary battrey

dont know what your all winging about its a forward facing camara if any little scroat is going to break into your motor do you think he,s going to come through the window screen
ps note its a driver aid for when your driving
and jason not to worry about the traxide system its going in dry over the weekend

What no auxiliary battery? has he only got a bog standard GS then
I have a GS so was wondering if I could take a constant feed from the interior light, I could just pull out the power lead to the unit to keep it off permanently, say if left for a couple fo weeks while abroad and didn't want to run down the battery, otherwise keep it on sensor as I will be mixing with dodgy people, like meets in Sevenoaks

the power feed to the interior lights is a switch live feed so switches of when you alarm the car

Ah! that's that then, will copy your fitting and watch where I leave it then Will have to take a chance that no little 'monsters' hit it when parked
