Pic from the A9 yesterday, those wagons (and everything else) were stuck for a few hours. My top tip? Don't go under 1/2 tank of juice, then you have no worries re keeping toastie all night if stuck. Remember just coz you can get trough doesn't mean you'll be allowed to.

Will be fine!! I came south through a lot worse than that last year on standard road tyres (17" Conts) but had to turn around coz all of the routes through central Sotland were shut. Just be prepared to spend a lot of boring time if stuck playing I spy with my little eye something beginning with S.
M90 car park last year coz the response by the Scottish Gvt was total pants!
Too good to be true

Snow forecast http://www.snow-forecast.com/maps/dynamic/scotland looks like nothing to worry about, looks like the forecast stuff will all be further S on Friday. If you're going on hols you'll have lots of stuff you can use if stuck. Sling a garden spade & rope (if you've got one) in and don't worry about things. Gales should be more of an issue tan anything that's going to get you stuck.
