If you have a trolley jack handy it will make the job of installing the plate a whole lot easier. Start by removing the existing 13mm bolts for the rear mounting point then just place some wood (not THAT kind of wood) or similar on the jack, put the plate on that and jack it up until it is in position. Replace the original rear mounting bolts with your new, slightly longer 15mm ones from Mantec (dont forget the washers!) then fiddle your nuts (matron!) into the forward mounting point (no washers at the front), then start cranking that wrench!
Or at least I hope that's how it's done, cos that's how I fitted mine!
EDIT: I did consider holding it in place with duck tape and keeping the bolts for something else, but a little voice kept telling me this was NOT the way to do it.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

This differs from the non-winch one in this group buy by having four long bolts at the front, not two as per our version and it uses a different mounting point at the front as well. It's really obvious where the two front ones go once you line up the rear bolts as per the instructions on this .pdfI know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? Thanks for the fitting instructions. I don't have a trolley jack, so I may have to find a different solution for keeping the plate in place. I just hope that I have the right size socket wrench, this is the first time I will actually install something like this on a car so I don't have too many tools yet. Do as I do to fit or remove the plate, set the car at the right level that you can lie under the front on your side & hold the plate in place that way between U and the car. U just need to get the bolts a little "in" & then tighten up when you extract yourself to a more comfortable position. Works a treat!

Yup, been over a couple of times last year. A friend had a place in Gouda and we went to stay a couple of times. They've moved to Basel in Switzerland now, so future visits will still have a cheesey theme, but less porn.
