Damn! I did not make it home in time, the daylight was almost gone... I gave it a try anyway, but after removing the silly plastic cover (of which 4 clips have already broken off!) I discovered a thick crust of dried mud that has to be cleaned away first So, it has to wait until tomorrow... But at least I could confirm that I have all the proper tools for the job (thanks NoDo$h!).
The plate looks marvelous though, that is some serious piece of aluminum! 2006 Zermatt Silver TDV6 'SE' Auto, Mantec sump guard, Frontrunner roofrack, Lightforce 140s, split charge system and... a Jetboil.

Do as I do to fit or remove the plate, set the car at the right level that you can lie under the front on your side & hold the plate in place that way between U and the car. U just need to get the bolts a little "in" & then tighten up when you extract yourself to a more comfortable position. Works a treat!
Thanks, I tried that, and it seems to work great. I also discovered that I could also almost hold the plate in place when lying on my back But anyway, fitting the plate tomorrow seems like an easy job.

It is always wise to use your head when doing things, but this is taking it very literal

Yup, been over a couple of times last year. A friend had a place in Gouda and we went to stay a couple of times. They've moved to Basel in Switzerland now, so future visits will still have a cheesey theme, but less porn.
Gouda is not too far from where I live, nice town and good cheese. Can't (won't) comment on the porn... 2006 Zermatt Silver TDV6 'SE' Auto, Mantec sump guard, Frontrunner roofrack, Lightforce 140s, split charge system and... a Jetboil.

Wish my missus would.
She gave up working when she was 10 weeks pregnant and that was almost 9 years ago
Been spending it ever since, like it's going out of fashion.
