I can get the Takla X11832 air jack which has a 2.5 tonne lift. For £212.00 + Vat if 10 are ordered. Price inc vat is £249.10. This does not cover the second bung or delivery.
The normal price is £249.00 + Vat excluding bung and delivery.
Let me know if this is the preferred choice or not.

Not for me...
I do subscribe to the argument of Olley which makes sense to me that 2,5T might be too small... Thus I'll prefer to go that road.Georgia On My Mind...

Andrew I'm up for that, I have one reserved from the next shipment which they told me was due in any day. You and TFC used this is Morocco, so it is well tested, if it lifted your cars out there I would say 2.5t is easily sufficient?DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

IMO it's a very capable airjack, the loadbearing surfaces are reinforced and it has the ability to use a compressor airline instead of exhaust gases
the load rating is pretty conservative I think, it also has a pressure relief valve to prevent overload.
A fully loaded D3 is not going to put 2.5 tonnes onto it, simply because you still have two points of contact

And as the car is lifted the weight transfer will go onto the side that is still on the ground
2,5T might be too small... Thus I'll prefer to go that road.
Are you still interested in the Airjack then, Gurvan? I was wondering if the price would be less to send two here. Still "a lot of wedge" though, so no urgency (unitl we get a puncture )
