My Bottle of TSL arrived first post today. Well packaged with a measuring jug, disposable gloves and information leaflets, a nice touch l thought.
Took the D4 for a warm up drive, stopped on somewhere flat waited for 15 mins to check the oil level to make sure I had some space for the 250 ml bottle to be added. All poured in and engine started, then i thought I was going to record a before and after Doh !!
Anyway..... the difference in the running noise of the engine is quite noticeable so thumbs up for that already, and also as i drove the car for a bit longer the engine seem to get even quieter. I know the Discovery engines aren't generally known for been the noisiest but it was nice to hear a difference. I then stopped and waited to check the oil level, that was all ok with no difference in the before and after reading !
Off on holiday soon and using the D4 to do some serious mileage, so it will be interesting if the mpg improves as well. I will report back the findings.
Fired off a question to Hess regarding use in my Gsxr 750, he sought the advice of the manufacturer and l had an answer in a few minutes, so hats off to him for his service/advice.

Got mine last night at the SCAM, wasn't sure atr first, but at start up thuis morning from cold there was a definate difference in the clatter. Looking at the MPG, that also seems to be up by 3 or 4 on the computer, I filled it upimmediately before so will get an accuate reading at the end of the tank. Joined the BMWX5 45e group

I have had TSL in both my D3 and my TD4 Freelander for about 3-4 weeks now and I'm please to report I too have noticed differences for the better.
The Freelander has 109K on the clock and was sounding a tad tractor like however since adding the TSL it is a lot quieter, starts better and I'm getting greater miles per tank (haven't bothered to work out the actual mpg).
The Disco has 98k on the clock and after adding TSL i'm noticing it's slightly quieter and smoother. As far as mpg goes i'm not sure if it's the TSL or the recent remap that's aiding the increase in economy. I suspect a bit of both as I have a habbit of using the remap to the fullest....I just can't resist the urge to put the hammer down.
So in short, I'm happy with TSL and knowing both engines have additional slippery protection against frictional wear eases my mind. Still in between Discos

I'm really sorry Hess, but I have a real complaint about this stuff.
Since putting it in a few days ago, I keep find I am going a fair bit quicker than I think I am. It really has made it a whole lot quieter and I think that will affect the mpg figure as I always seem to be going faster! Joined the BMWX5 45e group

TSL will save you money Dave, but I'm not sure how many speeding tickets it'll cover

Had the TSL in since Tuesday night, certainly seems a lot quieter in the main!
Defintely quieter when accelerating in the high gears ie overtaking. Not quite sure about the MPG though as its not something I look at. If I looked at it I'd probably cry myself to sleep every night
Thanks Hess, I'm not in a hurry but I'll get another one off you for the Defender, probably at the next SCAM! 2016 RR Sport Autobiography

It's an enhancement to the Disco just like all the other bits and bobs so I thought it deserved a mention in my signature. Still in between Discos

Right Here goes my 2 pence worth
ive added TSL to my 56 plate corsa 1.3 cdti van 167k on the clock it does run quieter and a little smoother so big plus for me as for the fuel consumption i have no idea as it does nearly 60mpg anyways so i dont bother checking
second part
i did oil and filter change on darrells aka dsd1036 55 se here are the noise results checked with iphone app
2000 rpm run for a timed 10 seconds
1st test 10 seconds without TSL 84 db
2nd test 10 seconds without TSL 83 db
1st test 10 seconds with TSL 81 db
2nd test 10 seconds with TSL 81 db
so conclusion it is a little quieter and should get better with more usage
Videos of TSL show that by adding TSL to your engine oil then friction is reduced
I always thought that certain internal parts of an engine, cam followers etc were designed / relied on a certain amount of friction in order for them to rotate.
Also well worth a read prior to adding anything to the engine oil of your £30k motor

Just to confirm, it's now around 60 miles clocked since the oil change and TSL added, cold start is a lot smoother, engine gets upto normal running temp quicker, general running is much smoother and according to car comp MPG is up by about 2,so all in all a worthwhile additive
Thanks to KJS for his input Geoff for your help and Hess for the product!
