well i have had tsl in for about a month now, first reaction was there was no noticable difference, however a month later doing the same 400 mile trip i achieved 4mpg better than previous, so something is working , it seems to me that it gets better in use engine is getting quieter as well

My Review
Firstly i would like to say well done Hess for a very professional service and super quick delivery
My car 05my manual 70k blanked egrs decat at the time and a BAS map oh and G/G AT2s
Being a mechanic/Engineer I've been a big skeptic of products like this in the past,so when i seen this post i sat back and observed, until i was itching to try it out for myself.
So the day before i was going to Peterborough LRO show i carried out an oil change and added the first batch of TSL bearing in mind,I'm on my second engine and only just reach 10k with it,so thinking on the lines of "Ive lost one engine with only 58k on and NO TSL added"so surely this has got to help, nothing ventured nothing gained as they say.
So fired it up after the oil change, and well i didn't have to wait long, almost instantly i notice how much quicker the engine turns over when cranking, went for a little drive and filled up for the morning run to Peterborough, which is about 220mls each way, well not a lot happened until i reached about 150mls i glanced at the mpg fig it was in unknown figaritory 29mpg and climbing, well in 7 years i cant recall seeing that before, i normally get around 27 on a run and about 23 24ish on short runs, but it didn't stop there by the time i got there it was at 31mpg 8) anyway had a cracking weekend "Cheers Wiggs for sorting and everyone that came" and made my way home, and that's when i noticed how quiet it was inside the car and I'm thinking to myself this just gets better and better by this time mpg was back down to 29mpg then we hit the motorway and up she went to an almost constant 34.9mpg and I'm not hanging around and here is a pic, i had to take one as i couldn't believe it myself .
So needless to say i was well impressed with them results but thought the real test will be in the next couple of weeks when i'm just pottering round town and short journeys to work, remembering i was only getting around 23 24mpg on short runs before, but now the lowest i have manged to achieve is 26mpg which is only 1mpg off of what i use to get on a run what a result
I've clocked up about 1500mls now since adding TSL and i'm very happy with the results.
I have been keeping a log
Based on 80L fills
On a run before TSL was around 460MPT = miles per tank
On a run after TSL was around 530 MPT
= A 70miles difference per tank more 8)
Around Town
Before TSL was around 410MPT
After TSL was around 460MPT
= A 50miles difference per tank more 8)
What more can i say apart from i will be ordering some more
Also worth noting to all you proper drivers that have a clutch pedal ,this stuff is good to go in your manual gearbox
And also in your diffs
I.ve just ordered some to do my diffs and gearbox, i just need to save up for the ridiculous amounts of money Land Rover want for there oils
Cheers Hess and what a great product Wanted D4s non runners pm for competitive price.

Thanks Hess. My two bottles arrived this morning. I've added the correct amount to our 2011 Mini Cooper D, which usually returns mid-50's mpg, so it will be interesting to see what happens in the longer term in respect of that. Whilst the engine has always been quite refined, when I took it for a run, I'm certain that there's already less vibration coming back via the steering wheel, especially at idle. I've no doubt that there might be some placebo effect, but..............
Not sure whether I will be adding the other bottle to the D4 yet, as I don't know whether it will be with us for much longer. Hmmm.

Hess - I'm going to continue to watch the thread and seeing the individual endorsements is convincing me.
However, if you don't mind, and seeing as you welcome all comments.
1. Sales technique - ok, I can "wind my neck in" or whatever other phrase others would like to use but fact is, reading through the thread, the most off-putting aspect is actually your sales technique. You make it sound like a snake oil product and it does come across desperate. Let the individual claims speak for themselves and stop posting purchase orders and similar things, they don't actually prove anything besides someone buying the product - it says nothing for its effectiveness - I'll buy because it works and there are studies and positive reviews - not because I see a purchase order from A.N.Other bigco. I'll definitely not buy a product if it sounds like the salesman is desperate. Appreciate you're trying to defend the product you have chosen to sell but I think you can sit back and let the forum members endorse. Concentrate efforts on other forums (I'm sure you're already on other forums spreading the world and building the customer base similarly)
2. Evora - I think the claims around the Evora and TSL being wholly responsible for a 15k saving should be revoked, you can not prove this UNLESS you can show comparative reports on previous oil tests at similar engine hours on the same engine. For all we know his oil would have been all "green" on the report at the standard rebuild point anyway. Of course you can make me eat some HUUUUUGE slice of humble pie now by posting up oil reports from TOTAL pre TSL that show it was in bad condition on previous changes
More than happy for both of my opinions above to be shot down in flames but felt they were worth mentioning.... I'll keep my eyes on the thread and if it still sounds positive will buy for the next oil change and if it works then I'm just as loud when it comes to endorsing as I am when being critical as above.

Dubbs,
I do indeed welcome any and all comments.
And I am pleased that the individual endorsements are starting to convince you.
But I can't simply put a post up once and watch the orders roll in so to speak.
This product was not in the U.K., I am also not selling a known household name
at a discount, nor was anyone aware of it to start with and all I can do to provide
information and testimonials is post what I am given and can find and what I post I have
to back up with proof.
Whatever I say is subjected to scrutiny and people want proof that what I say is true.
I have started on this forum as a member just like anyone else here.
I offered a group buy and it has been going well, it's had its ups and downs,
but I am not Britain's Next Top Salesman either, and I fully know myself
that it's not been the most glorious of product launches either which will be taught
to budding young entrepreneurs in every university for decades to come.
All I do and continue to do is post updates and what I think is interesting information
about TSL and its users. Whether that is a race car which uses TSL, a Dakar press team,
an Alfa Club member doing a test with a diagnostic tool or upon being challenged
actually providing a purchase order that Cosworth indeed purchases TSL products.
I posted those purchase orders as I was challenged on my statement.
As proof that the product was actually being bought and endorsed by the company.
I also fail to see how I make it sound desperate, should I just resort to
a simple "Bump" now and again to keep it at least on the first page?
Up to now just over 100 people have bought TSL here, and I am most grateful
for that and the fact that they have looked beyond my sales techniques and
flaws and given me the benefit of the doubt and gone and tried it for themselves.
They have shared their findings, some more positive than others but have
collectively provided enough referrals for others to try it out too.
And they in turn provided their experiences which convinced others to try it.
As you mention the Evora and your suggestion to revoke the post I made on that
with regards to the oil analysis and the role of TSL in that.
I have quoted the details and information as it has been given to me.
I don't have access to TOTAL nor the oil reports, nor do I know what
testing has been done prior.
All I can do is go and ask if it is available.
And if it is, then I will provide it, just like I have done in the past
which resulted in me, for example, posting purchase orders.
So, I hope that this won't become a vicious circle where I have to
now provide something of which you've actually indicated that it could
be seen as desperate and unnecessary.

I'll be buying some in December when service is due. I'm from Yorkshire & wouldn't normally consider shelling out £30 for snake oil!
If it didn't work reckon Hess would have been tarred & feathered by now!

RBP - that's what is selling it to me, too many guys on here that know what they're talking about... and they are positively endorsing it after trying it.
Hess - I see what you mean about the vicious circle but... with the engine oil test your own statement was that TSL was responsible for saving €15000... that's the claim I'm suggesting can't be substantiated on the evidence provided. Appreciate you are only posting what's given to you but don't use it to claim a 15k saving when it's not supportable is where I was coming from.
Either way... other comments seem positive so sounding good and good luck with it as a string to the bow business-wise. I hope it continues to play out to be a positive product

Dubbs,
It is a € 15.000 saving when the people deciding when to send the engine
away for rebuild do so at the normal 50 hours or at 100 hours.
Previously those 100 hours racing time, would have seen 2 engines being used.
Now only 1, and they did so because they have been using TSL in the engine and
wanted to try and see what would happen and if they could save on costs like that.
They did an oil test to check whether the engine had sustained significant damage
or not and since it hadn't due to the use of TSL they have now moved to 100 hours of
racing time per engine. They hadn't changed anything aside from adding TSL to the car.
What the previous amount of damage is or was is unknown to me
but what we do know for a fact is that they had those engines rebuilt at 50 hours
each and every time by Cosworth, so they must have had plenty of reasons for that.
They themselves put this down to the usage of TSL. It is not a claim by me.
It's a substantiated claim by the people who race this Evora.
A testimonial like any other but with an oil analysis provided.

Hi Dubbs
You make a fair point but at the end of the day everyone will make their own minds up based on everything that's been said by Hess & most importantly his customers.
I'm no expert but have decided its worth a go. I reckon Hess is doing his best to sell what appears to be a good product.
This isn't a criticism Dubbs, you obviously think harder before purchasing & ask more questions than I do!
Richard.

Having not reported back since purchase several months ago and in the interests of transparency and balance I thought I would add my simple review.
I have had TSL in for 5k now and can't report any difference in either quietness or MPG. There may well be other benefits to the engine such as reduced wear rates.
I still have another bottle and I will add it at my next oil change but once its gone I won't be getting any more. It all feels a bit like the emperors new clothes.
having said all that as others have indeed seen big benefits then maybe I am wrong or maybe my driving style is to blame.
Good luck with TSL

Hi Discoed,
Thank you for your review.
Not every engine is the same and obviously not all will have the exact same
results as the rest.
Even though you may not enjoy the MPG figures as others have been reporting
you will certainly be enjoying the added protection and other benefits from the product.
