Appologies Chalky for hijacking your thread, never say never Pete has responded in his unmatched customer sevice, agreeing to help with enabling blanking of EGRs on my09-D3. In short another reason to by his remap with the associated unit which as mentioned before can load the map, clear and read DTC on engine ecu and possible in future load map to enable blanking of EGRs( software patch).  A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2

I had my D3 for some 3 years and after 2 months got my bas remap with the bas box and used to switch it of sometimes only to pull up within 5 mins and re apply it, should tell you something

Many thanks chalky for arranging this g/buy. Hurry up UPS i cant wait. Reading the above posts im in cos im planning on long term ownership i also live in an area where you are constantly up and down the gearbox and being a manual i am going to reap the benifits. Cant think why i havent gone for it before now but here goes.  D3 bonatti grey

you will not believe the way it holds on to the gears and maintains boost when hitting the inclines
I've had mine 3 years and i do not know why i didnt do this before !
If you havent got a re-map then please DO-NOT be tempted to drive one with
I got on the M18 from the M1 tonight and stepped on the gas to join traffic 
It surged forwards in a very positive manner......................
I'm half temted to put the original tune back on to see what its like but i'm sure Pete said it will get better after a few days
Which it has, i dont want to balls up the past few days settling down now trying to prove something to myself that i already know.
By the way Guy, Have you got a notchy 1st to 2nd gear linkage ? Only dead fish go with the Flow !

Hi all
I appreciate that this is only my second post on the forum. I have been lurking in the background reading up on all the posts prior to our recent purchase of a Disco 3 TDV6. I am interested in the BAS unit however am still to run it past SHMBO tonight. If all goes well there will be a post up quicker than you can say SOLD!
