Hi Ian,
I have been intrigued with the idea of on of the BV units for a while but have no idea how to fit one (and really crap at DIY). I'm only a few miles south of LEDs so can I see an installation or are thre any local chaps willing to lead a complete numpty through what's involved.
Cheers,

2019 Suzuki Vitara AllGrip
Gone BMW X5 xDrive 30d M Sport (F15)
Gone Disco 4 HSE SD V6
Gone 2008 Jaguar XF 2.7TD Premium Luxury
If one was installing 2 BVs - 1 each front & rear does one need 2 Power Magic Controllers one for each camera, or can one serve both cameras?
NJSSAm I Gammon or Woke ? - I neither know nor care.

2011 Mercedes Benz SL350 (R230)
1973 MG B GT V8 - 3.9L John Eales engine, 5 speed R380 gearbox, since 1975.
1959 MGA roadster - 1.9L Peter Burgess Engine - 5 speed gearbox
Past LRs - Multiple FFRs, Discos & a Series I - some petrol, some diesel,
none Electric or H2 fuel cell - yet.

I may well be interested in this, I just need to go do some research on the difference between the 500 & the 380 models.

I'm very interested in the dr500g unit, just one question are they compatible with iPads as that's the only computer I have, is it a case of just plug and play/edit or do I need endless apps for it to work. Thanks

DR500GW-HD and DR380G -HD are the full model numbers. Was being lazy in the post title
These units are ordered and will be here within 2 weeks
The 400 unit i will not be buying as its almost the same price as the 500 to buy. And i see little point anyone buying the 400 now when you can get the extra functions of the 500 for approx 25 pounds. The 380 has full HD and is a better buy than the 400 and the price is more reasonable offering a significant saving over the 500.
Thanks for all your PMs. I will post when the units are landed in the UK - and then contact everyone thats been in touch but of course that will be the time to bombard me if i missed anyone.
all the best

Its helpful to have a pc, but now with the wifi function not 100% needed. You will need the blackvue app though. You can change most functions and menu items through the app, you can save videos to the iPhone/iPad internal storage and upload to youtube direct from the app mThe only things you won't be able to do are update the firmware and there are a few menu times that aren't on the app for some reason.
