I know this might class as a thread revival but.... I have had a look on the bay and have found the reducers and intercooler. The clamps for sale on there are sized 43-47, 48-51mm etc can anyone direct me to the right size clamps needed ?
Also the straight connectors 100mm long, are they stainless steel to connect the pipes from the car to the reducers or are they silicone too ?

England 

Bits required are
1x intercooler.
2x reducers 76-55mm
2x straight couplings 54mm x 100mm long (alloy)
4 x clamps 45-60mm
2x clamps. 60-80mm
Do make sure the intercooler has got swaged ends Thumbs Up there have been reports of pipes coming of if they are not Thumbs Up
I used regular jubilee clips and have had no problems whatsoever however there are more substantial clamps available if you prefer Thumbs Up You're not afraid of the dark are you ?

Hi cellardwellar, thanks for the tips, have you got a how to or anything like that ? I could probably manage to figure it out but any help is always greatly appreciated.
Ah that's why I couldn't find the right size clamps. I was looking at the t bolt type not jubilee type. Having said that I've always had the jubilee type ones on my D1 without problems and afaik they are the standard type on the D3 so they should be fine ? Thumbs Up Jarrod

I have had every intention of doing a how too but not got round to it . If you decide to go ahead with the modification and think you need any tips I'm happy to assist if I can . You're not afraid of the dark are you ?

Just out of interest, do you know where I can buy the straight connectors ? eBay has 51mm or 57mm but no 54mm. Jarrod
