I encountered a bunch of those on the way back from the Peaks. Stuck in traffic in a small town, all the bikes behind insisted on revving their engines, as if it was going to make the traffic disappear! All bar none had illegally loud exhausts. I know I'm old, but I just don't see the point. Richard

I should have been more angry but the irony of him proclaiming me to be a w r when he's driving around north wales on a Saturday afternoon missing only an orange ball in his mouth just really amused me D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Unfortunately not. We took pity on a "decorated ex-serviceman" who needed somewhere to live and we let him stay in a static caravan that was otherwise empty. We then found he had two 3 kW heaters on most of the time: we'd turn them down; he'd turn them back up.
That's before we had three visits from the Police (including the counter-terror people) and discovered he hadn't been in the services at all. A 'See You Next Tuesday' all round. A few serving servicemen would like to meet him. I now have extremism/terror against my address.
