In Italy the old D4 MY2013 was selling also with coil spring suspension: someone know if the coil spring suspension will be offered also on MY2014?D3 TDV6, Zermatt Silver, Coil Spring Suspension, Tyres 285/55 R 18

Like the new iPad a "new discovery" is all that will be announced?
Don't number them, so the poor fools who bought the last minor revision don't feel so hard done by... Disco3 is now gone but not forgotten. Waiting for Disco6 with full aluminium construction weight reduction and hybrid engine...

dropping the 4 number, and going for Discovery as a brand. Clever marketing.

In the MY14 Product Brief, any references to subsequent models only refer to "MY15" or "15MY" so you're probably correct.

The rot has started, at least in the US

A new, lighter single-speed transfer case 4WD system is now standard for the LR4, with the two-speed transfer case 4WD system now part of an optional Heavy Duty Package that also equips the vehicle with an active locking rear differential and a full-size spare tire.

stop start - yes for economy (if it delivers in practice) and lower VED
we are in middle of SWMBO exchanging her car and the Audi we are about to collect has stop/start feature.
the sales person mentioned that the service teams recommend turning OFF the feature for engine longevity.
I can only assume the concern would be on the turbo's have sufficient time to cool and/or oil circulation.
OT the new Skoda has engine management selection on radio screen (normal/sport/eco/program options) and I tried the eco settings for a week, then went back to normal settings; only to find normal is more economical on tank range and better all round on drive Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

The turbo is an interesting one. We all know that no oil pressure is incredibly bad for a fast spinning turbo but most don't kill the engine immediately after spinning it up, as natural traffic flow tends to prevent it. But accelerating strongly before braking for the lights or traffic is not untypical.
I hope the stop-start on the D4.5 has taken this into account and uses a parameter to avoid killing the oil supply with the turbo still doing serious rpm… or it could get expensive really quickly.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Price list just above here. Scroll up.
The model range referred to in the link posted today includes S and SE but no XS. The web address finishes with "int" so presumbaly that model list refers to exports. The UK price list that I posted earlier only talks of Commercial, GS, XS, HSE and HSE Lux.
