My HSE does not have front fog lights.
I really like these units. What extra do I need to get an OEM fit? I'm guessing:
New dash lights rotary switch.
N/S & O/S F bumper corners
Relay, loom - in case next owner want to revert to OEM fog lights.
Aye I know I could get a hole cutter and make my own switch....
The inside of the bumper is marked, all you have to do is cut it out
2 fog lights
2 fog light trims
6x screws + speedclips
1x foglight wiring loom
1x headlight switch (with front fogs option)
It may or may not need enabled in the CCF. The last one I did, did not need enabling. Worked out the box
I want these lights myself, but they have to wait a while My D3 Build Thread

I'm not being funny but are you sure that you have an HSE ?
I thought all top spec cars had the fogs ?
No drama! But I have no rain/dip sensor, no fridge, no factory tint, no front fogs (maybe all were options to start with). Be interested to know what it was built to, I thought V8's only come in HSE though.

It might have been a press vehicle ? Or a demonstrator ?
I too have exceeded my D3 slush fund of late
I've just bought front lamp guards, which I've always fancied so 4 plus years on I thought I'd purchase some, next I thought would MY14,rear light clusters and matching light guards but in order to get the front end squared away and complete the look I'm after my OCD won't let me get away with not sorting the fog lamp
Or I could just buy the fog light OEM ?Only dead fish go with the Flow !

I replaced both my fog lights with OEM ones recently, Chalky. TLO did me a good price on a pair.

Can anyone with a D3 please confirm the install is similar to Imsy's D4?
I'm okay with dremelling out bits, but am ham-fisted when it comes to electrics...

The only tricky bit is finding an ignition live, the rest is dead straight forward using a voltage meter. The live on the pollution sensor ? Didn't work for me. It came on and off with the interior lights which I didn't like.

For ignition live I used F19 fuse connection from the fusebox using a pigtail connector.
Here is a pic of the location on a RHD car. My car also did not have the pollution sensor connector. The F19 fuse was unused and I think you can also use a spade type as in this pic.

3 individual functions Chalky...
DRL (the curved or tick shaped) for when ignition on and no lights on
Fog lamp in place of the originals (whole lamp)- so just when fog switch pulled
Cornering lamp (an aimed piece from inner corner towards kerb) - comes on when lights are on and turn indicator switched on
Finally got these fitted to my D3. Takes a bit more fettling than the D4 (I actually used negative spacers so no dremelling needed to the bezels) .
Had a quick question on the functions though - my xenons act as DRLs (at least that's how they're programmed in Canada). With the way they're currently wired up, essentially the only time the LED DRLs come on is when I'm in Park and the lights are off. Is that how they function on the D4 as well?
I'd prefer if they could stay on with the xenons as DRLs, and switch off when the lights are on...

I also fitted these last weekend. I also used negative spacers to avoid dremeling the fog light bezels. However i found that there was no way I would line up the mounting holes with any of the ones provided on the bumper. If I lined up 1 hole... the rest wouldn't line up and if i tried the light wouldn't be straight.
Ended up drilling 3 new holes and adding negative spacers to move the lights back 5mm to avoid them hitting the bezels, 4th mounting lug was obviously impossible to use as it was floating in thin air.
Took me much longer than expected (I did not have fog lights so had to cut the bumper hole etc too)... so called it a day after the lights were fitted. Wiring the thing up will be done next weekend Dennis

No idea rob, but if the bumper takes the OEM fog lights then it will take these. Not a straight fit for sure, but they will fit somehow with some improvisation. But I have never seen they back side of the styling bumper.Dennis

For anyone doing this on a D3, on my D3 the fuse 19 shown above was indeed unused, but it was permanently live not ignition switched.
I used another "unused" fuse which (according to the diagram on the BJB box) is supposed to be for heated seats, which I don't have on my poor man's model. This fuse was ignition switched.
Shouldn't cause any issues as the blue wire for the Osram box is just an ignition sense I believe. No current to power the actual lights is drawn from it so the current on that wire will be really small.Dennis
