The front looks pants and doesn't have any Disco genes showing through whatsoever. The rear looks like its still fairly vertical so there is hope for the rear load space which is the make or break for my deposit!MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

How it drives and its pricing will be the decider for me.
I would happily pay £35k for it 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

The RRS had a child with the Discovery Sport. The high roof line has been pushed back like on the old Free Lander. Wished it started on the passenger side like on the D3/4. Less cargo room:(

RDR: Boot space is vital for me too. By current standards the tailgate is near vertical, although the car is cursed by "sloping rear roof sydrome" So, whether you're loading furniture, push bikes, paintings or heavy work equipment, then it'll be that much closer to a dainty estate car
Now, if they really c*ck the load bay design up, a la Disco Sport, you won't be able to fold the centre seats flat either 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4

It has zero utilitarian use. It's same as a Ford Explorer. Crap!D3 2005 V8 SE Bonatti Grey "The Rhino" (our NYC D3)

Agreed. I've almost always got a roof box on and tow a trailer every weekend too, if the load space turns out a mess i honestly don't know what i will do!
J77 I'm sure (hope) it will drive well . If its close to the RRS platform it should i think they drive really well however that said a 2.0 engine is not something i fancy and i'm hoping for substantially more horses than the current D4 UK offering.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Oh dear, it looks so dull. The family look of the RRS FFRR etc looked fresh 3 years back but already starting to look a bit run of the mill
Discovery has always been a unique vehicle, as plush and slick as I'm sure it will be it has lost that identity.
Starting to wonder if the Defender line up will ever happen as all very quiet.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Yes but its a mistake to leave a gap between outgoing and replacement.
The opposition are wading in and LR are loosing loyal customers.

We know that, but in LRs eyes they are gaining more than they are losing.
I can safely say a Black or White D5 is out the question, don't think those colours do it justice.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Other than 7 seats and towing ability the F Pace is just looking like such a better alternative.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Have you driven a fpace ive just spent the last 6 months in one its nothing like the new discovery
There has to be a gap as the new discovery will be made on a new line so old line has to be move out to make room for it as the discovery 4 is on a t5 platform and the new discovery is on a d7u
