I've just seen a not very well camouflaged D5 on the M40... didn't have time to take photos (I was driving alone) but I was surprised how tall and narrow it looks like from the back !!!
Imagine the vision concept but with narrow wheels and you'll see what I mean....

Ste - I was offered £29-£34k for my 2 year old rrs black edition (£60k new) last year against a new DS HSE with no discount so don't think it's because you're looking used
Ended up being offered £36500 cash by HROwen and wbac then negotiated discount off a DS with no px
Dealer mark ups are massive now to pay for new showrooms and facilitiesWanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Id rather sell it myself than trade it in and let them take my pants down, it was his attitude of 'well you've had discount' what else do you want

I tried to sell private but had no interest at all
Buyers prefer to pay dealer prices and get finance now it appears
I've sold LRs privately before in the past but it's getting harderWanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Hmmm, there was a front threequarter shot posted earlier which emphasised that tapering upper body and which rather unfortunately reminded me of the old Nissan Maverick/Ford Terrano. Not a good look....Arthur.

That dealer was taking the Pi$$, a dealer offered me something a lot lot LOT more than that for mine not so long back. Mines a Lux with every option and 13k on the clock and the dealer said demand is very high for them.
just checked on Approved and retail seems to be 50-55k for a year old one so he was trying to shaft you if it was part of a trade in deal!

Not the concept car I was referring to but this;

To be fair, the mirror image may be distorting the proportions but that reminds me of a Maverick, tall, narrow and tapered.

It looks as big as the Scania 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
