That's the Range Rover Sport coupé, LRs answer to the F-Pace.
I personally don't dislike the D5, it's the inevitable price increase that I don't like.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Nope. Not keen on the look of the D5. It just looks like a stretched version of the Discovery Sport. And for £65k +++ for what we would want on the car??? Going to be the proud owner of an indus silver Landmark, arrival next week

Many will upgrade to one through time, it's already happening with Fl2 owners who didn't like the DS but now have one.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Its going to be a success for landrover no two ways about to but for me the pics so far indicate its not nearly as radical as the D3 was, its just a copy and paste of the DS that they have stretched. I was really hoping for something forward thinking and almost challenging to look at just like the D3 was. I was a convert to the D3 straightaway i loved the bold styling and the technology. It just seems like LR have held back on the design and played it safe which is disappointing. Hope they pull something out the hat at the reveal but right now i know I'm gonna get one but its "meh" rather than "whoohoo can't wait".MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

For me it's one of those cars that needs big alloys to make it look right, those skinny looking wheels just don't work for me.
Sounds expensive already 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

It's funny how we all differ - I loved my D2s but thought the D3 looked all wrong (like a van) - I then really liked the D4
A LR with big alloys isn't right IMHO - I much prefer small alloys and big rubber side walls - it should be a 4x4 not a luxurious people carrier

Judging by the amount of top end Discos that are sold, luxury is what most buyers want and with the amount of Discos that I see parked up outside schools, people carrying is top of the list.
I should add when I say larger alloys I'm talking 20" nothing ridiculous like 22" that are on Range Rovers. My current 20s have served me well on the few occasions I've ventured into the rough 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Trust me, I keep asking...
I may need to wrap the D4 in camo and smuggle it in to swap for a D5, leaving mine as 'hostage'...

As the Sport is sort of a coupe Range Rover, will the Coupe be a Coupe Coupe? As the RRS2's boot is smaller than the previous version, presumably the Coupe Coupe will have a tiny boot.
Will it be referred to as a RRC? If so, the model range will be (in size order):
FFRR, D, RRS, RRC, DS, RRE. Phew!Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

From the pictures the D5 looks bigger than the FFRR to me. I guess it won't be purely from a marketing perspective or it could be FFRR (L), D5, FFRR, RRS2 etcMY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Range Rover Velar is apparently a name that's also been mentioned for it.
I think it will be pretty much to F-Pace dimensions, not sure what they are in relation to the RRS.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green
