I'm talking about the new models, the Defender as we know it ceasing, right or wrong?
It will be interesting to see how that changes spec wise and the pricing as well as the new Disco.
Luckily I have a beautiful 12 seater County 3.5 V8

I suspect there are not a lot of people.know which direction the new Defender is going in, nor what other models will be launched in the Discovery "family"
Sounds to me like you are trying to provoke and irritate a lot of people, with no real need to do so... My D3 Build Thread

No, looking for my next car, simple, without all the ponce
I have been an LR owner for years and am now being driven out by unecessary poncing which drives up prices, all I ask is that a basic model is maintained in the new versions

There are times DT where I think you say things just to be controversial. For a man that owns at least one Porsche, a defender, a D3, a large boat, more apple products than my local greengrocer, the ability to buy the latest gadget put it in a drawer and forget about it, have plenty of holidays to exotic locations and many of other things that you care to tell us about, one could be forgiven for thinking you fall into the "more money than you know what to do with" category.!!
Just saying

Yes, exactly, and that is what I have at the moment
I'm sure there is still a big market for GS type models which offer value for money and practicality

But not more money than sense
If more people ion here bought a GS and looked after it without updating every year then they could have more things as well, I have the lowest spec car on the forum but then I can still have fun as I don't owe anything on it and I am safe in the knowledge that WD are ready to step in if something goes wrong, what's wrong with that?
The price of a new HSE D4 compared to my GS could buy an awful lot of holidays, Apple products and other things, it's called choice

Is it your goal in life to insult everybody that does not have a D3 GS and fall in with the way you think

Such as?
FWIW, your GS will be "poncey" compared to a base spec model on coils... 2nd lowest spec My D3 Build Thread

No one is insulting you.
You are being a for no reason, and insulting everyone else
Am I poncey for having an HSE D3? Bet it cost a whole lot less than yours
Still cant afford every single item Apple make. Or 5 holidays a year. Or run a V8 Defender. Or buy a boat...
Its not all about choice... My D3 Build Thread
