And me
If it has the same carrying capacity, a split rear tailgate and provided I can't get comfortable in it I'll be happy.
No idea if I'll buy one or not though. The equivalent HSE spec. will surely be north of £60k 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

The vision concept is a nice looking motor, but I doubt my budget will stretch to it.
£48k start price perhaps?23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

L661 / New Discovery 5 ????
Evening all
I'm looking at when might be a good time to say bye-bye to our 2011 D4. I have done some much searching to see if LR are bringing out a D5 ... some say it is going to be going back to it's roots becoming more utilitarian. Other reports are coming out that it is going to be a tech geek's dream. http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars...016-launch
Theoretically the above would suggest that LR should be marketing this pretty soon yet there are no images and nothing on the LR website.
Anyone know any more ?
Much thanks in advance.

Plenty of threads on here about it, just search "Discovery 5".
Some things will be certain - it will be neither basic, or cheap
Edit: My answer now looks a little strange now the the previous poster's question has been merged into the massive thread that he needed to find!2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!

Just found this on a Facebook page where they were discussing the deafeners...... But what's under the cover on the bottom left of the picture? Is it the backside of a D5?

they're existing models destined for the other side of the world, Australia/New Zealand. Often they will get wrapped due to distance.
FYI there are disguised LR models running around Cotswolds/Warwickshire often in the bodyshell of another model so what yer see is not often what yer get
