Oh dear, so it really is just like the Vision concept
When did having nice large (and deep cut) windows, that everyone (including the dog - see Avatar!) could see out of, go so badly out of fashion? Okay, so it's not a Pill Box, like the useless Evoque 3 door, but it's still hopeless! This sort of arty farty nonsense on a Land Rover, of all cars, really hacks me off (you can tell, can't you?! )
How ironic that the concept should be called "Vision"! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!
(One of only two known to exist in the world!)

So JLR is set to give us a jelly mould Kia crossed with a Saab.
What else should I consider now that a new Disco is off the list?Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Yes agree, it's odd why LR are persisting with this jelly mould design throughout the model range whilst all other manufacturers new 4X4's and crossovers are going for a more tall flat front [purposful] look.
Think everyones hopes are well and truly pinned on the new Defender .... whenever that gets released ..... if they even decide to do one ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Anybody know why they thought sticking a massive raked C pillar would help the 7-seat experience or why they thought removing the practical cube shape of the boot and door would be appealingly?
If practicality has been lost from the Disco then you would be mad not to buy an RRS2 (quality issues aside).Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Gauged from the position of the rear door handle the boot doesn't exactly look large either. Full 7 seater or just kiddie seats in the back?
Wonder what those peeps who are gagging for the D5 think? "Careful what you wish for" comes to mind.

Had pencilled in a D5 as my retirement present, looks like it will be a late D4 or the Defender replacement if it's any good. That appears to have lost the practical edge that D1-4 have and the distinctive stepped roof and rear window.==================================

I think LR may have gone a bit 'we know better than the prols' in its attitude
I guess it's the dizzy success of their sales in recent years
A 'last of the D4's' ( Pre punishing rfl rises ) may be the answer for you (and me) Robbie
Btw had a new RRS for a year and indeed a great vehicle, but in the end a little soulless, something akin to a trophy wife I feel Illegitimi Non Carborundum
