Will be keeping my D3 til she dies a dramatic and glorious death. She's paid for and modified to just so, don't know what a new(er) Disco would give me. After she dies it could well be back to "normal" cars.
Based on your use of your D3 Derek, this setup will probably do you next

Look at the second shot down of the rear end and the spoiler, there seems to be a second spoiler over the top of the first, if you take this of it looks identical to the concept car.
Rear lights and reflectors in the rear bumper look identical to the concept as well.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

When I first saw the D3, it was an HSE in silver, it looked like something for moon exploration.
LR need to look at the reasons why people are buying the current Disco rather than looking at all the X5 and XC90 customers they can poach.
I don't need the off road ability of the Disco, though I do have a dabble. But I know that it can handle even the worst trips to Ikea. It's the best van, bus, tow car etc.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green
As is so often the case, they always include "token" features, that allow them to claim it is worthy of the name Discovery. There are clear things there of that nature - the slight hint of a stepped roofline, the upper corners of the back end etc. It's all nonsense to claim such things mean it is a Discovery, but that's how these things often seem to work.

I think as Steve says, the rear end is very heavily disguised. If they put a prototype out with a stepped rear window and off set number plate it would completely give the game away. So I reckon that rear end is nothing like the reality!

The mods are having a busy day with this.
Interesting, one thread very positive (this one), other thread negative.
