I think as Steve says, the rear end is very heavily disguised. If they put a prototype out with a stepped rear window and off set number plate it would completely give the game away. So I reckon that rear end is nothing like the reality!

That image looks more Discovery like, but with a curved rear end it's just another X5 wannabe in the LR range. It's dissapointing really.

You have been able to pay a deposit since the start of the year, I know three LR dealers round this way that all state they have taken a deposit for at least one D5. One dearler recons ha has taken 10 plus orders/deposits.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
