I like my D3 for what it is. I couldn't imagine loading up tools, oily things etc into the back of one of those. And, it will be way out of my price range
However, I had a Disco 1, then a Disco 3. Logic dictates my next one will by a Disco 5...My D3 Build Thread

The eventual replacement for my D3 will either be the new Defender or a brand swap as the newer models are travelling too far up market for my liking and moving way too far from my requirements.
When the D3 came out, I had a D2 and loved it and the D3 just seemed too huge but I became used to the size and now love the shape but I can't see me falling for the D5 in anything like the same way.
Guess I'm not the target customer any more.

Swapped emails with my dealer about the D5 today. I registered a keen interest to reserve a build slot for first deliveries. As expected no details at all however they do expect it to be available next year possibly order spring for delivery end of 2016. We shall see.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Perhaps some dealers pretend they have build slots, then when the slots really appear they allocate them?In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
