3rd March 2016 ?
Thanks CC ....I'm just trying to correlate the date of the first date of spy shots with build. That means for the DS the first spy shots came out end November 2013 and the first build was March 2015 ..so the lead time was roughly 14 months. If it were the same for the D5 then we can expect a Jan '17 build 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I don't know about photo shop, but would some PS guru not be able to get rid of the camouflage to give us a better view of the lines?
Does this help?
Dimensions are pretty much the same as the concept...
That's a very impressive graphic, even my wife was impressed with that! Surely this answers most questions on what it's going to look like.

I'm starting to like the look of it. It looks modern, and fresh. If the technology is up to date, and its lost a LOT of weight, I'm interested

You were able to buy showroom cars from the 22nd Jan 2015 if I remember rightly, advanced orders were March 2015.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

I think the term "built slot" could quite reasonably be considered as your place in the queue with your dealer for when they can eventually place official orders.
A friend of mine put down three £1000 deposits 18 months ago on a RRS, DS and D5 He's had his RRS for a year now, the DS (which was the 2nd car the dealer received) for 6 months and is again second in the queue for a D5 when they release it. 8)
As I understand it he probably won't take up his option on the D5...............I may just offer to take his place

Beginning to feel the same way about it, the more I see it, the more I'm getting used to it.
As long as it's big, purposeful and planted, it could look good in the right colour, in the right trim and of course "ruffty tufftied" up a good bit.
However don't know if I'd come out of semi-retirement to buy one ..... enjoying my free time too much. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

There was this Photoshopped picture of the concept with RAI and decent wheels that really did it for me. After driving the same car for 10 years I'm really looking forward to something a bit more modern. Just think, an SVO version could be awesome.

The vision concept is a stunning looking car, but I bought the DS based on how it looked but in reality it just didn't have that feel about it, the permagrin.
I do like it but it will be out of my budget, and the SVO off road addition that's planned will probably be through the roof.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

The permagrin does worry me, its the main reason I've had the same car for the last 10 years. I get to drive some top notch cars but nothing feels like my D3/D4s have.
The Command driving position, size and weight give it such feel and presence. It just has something about it thats going to be hard to replicate.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Ignoring the slightly wobbly bits where I've warped it, I quite like the results. There's certainly value in the Vision, but LR need to take a step back from it IMO.Current: Discovery 3 06MY (55 reg) HSE Auto Zambezi Silver Allisport Fast Road Intercooler, V8 Brakes, Silicone IC Hoses, EGRs Blanked, Remapped, De-Cat pipe, FBHIC
