I don't know about photo shop, but would some PS guru not be able to get rid of the camouflage to give us a better view of the lines?
Does this help?
Dimensions are pretty much the same as the concept...
Wow, that's some pretty impressive Photoshopping

I think the term "built slot" could quite reasonably be considered as your place in the queue with your dealer for when they can eventually place official orders.
Andy.
I think that you can remove the words "could quite reasonably be considered as" with is from the sentence above until an actual job 1 date is confirmed

Thanks CC ....I'm just trying to correlate the date of the first date of spy shots with build. That means for the DS the first spy shots came out end November 2013 and the first build was March 2015 ..so the lead time was roughly 14 months. If it were the same for the D5 then we can expect a Jan '17 build
Indeed. I the first camo DS I saw going into MIRA was Dec 2013 i.e. well over a year before the first build (let alone the first deliveries to joe public).

Looks great imo, I'll have one if the engines, specs and prices are agreeable. I think my current D4 is outstanding but do see the need for a lighter, more economical replacement. Always other options out there too but nothing stays the same for ever.
Can't wait to see the further details emerge, mine will be due a change Sept 2016 but I'm flexible, with that.
Thanks for the info / disinfo to date. Appreciated.
I could still go with the Jaguar if the D5 isn't right - but I'm not sure about getting dogs in the rear of either.

Don't think I'd get a mouldy old shed in the back of the Jag. Though I do like it as a q5/Macon/x3 alternative.

In terms of its size and wheelbase, is the logic that it will be sharing major components with the current Range Rover Sport, hence be fairly close to that size?

The likes of BMW, Audi, VW and Porche have proven that there's a much larger (and potentially more lucrative) market for pretend 4x4's than there is for the real thing. I wish Jaguar every success with this car 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!

I think you're spot on DG.... My source is saying 2017... With probable early cars late 2016.. With Paris Motor show the potential first sighting....... Who knows if it's true, but considering the overall lack of mules out there yet......
