Can't Happen

I do believe though, that the D4 and D5 could sit side by side in the showroom and both sell.

I'm open minded, I will give it a good look over and if I don't like what I see then I'm more than happy to keep my current one.

When the D4 line stopped its stripped out & the D5 line installed & worked up to production status..
Maybe the old line will go elsewhere (India ?)
 BREXIT - done properly.

Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

I know it can't happen, all I'm saying is there is a market for both.

It will interesting to see what the new Defender (or whatever its called) actually is as the Defender morphed from a basic agricultural vehicle into many things - it was a platform for adaptation.
I'm sure that J/LR agent going to abandon the market sector that is a legend in its own right

J/LR lead others follow

I'll been keen to see it, I reckon they will have it ready for LRs 70th Birthday, maybe not a full production model.

Still, the black wheels help. Thumbs Up

I'll stick with my 'old' D4 for sometime though; maybe last of the 'old' schoolish LR's - that's why we bought one...

Is this at access height of normal height ?

The rear wheel arch looks lower than the front arch in all the spy shots I have sighted

.... and you didn't mention why the rear wheel is considerably smaller than the front wheel. Wink
