Donner und Blitzen! look at the idiot, he's sat on the wrong side of the car!LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Right, enough of the puns, they're just not endeering!!
Most excellent breakie, get me fuelled up for the day. Off to see Easy Elsie, weather is good, for me and hopefully a bit chilly for the bugs. Then down to Sundsvall ready for the last three days of a pretty uneventful road trip.
And for those waking up hungry:

No, that's followed by a couple of bowls of yoghurt & granola. Very healthy.
First proper RT Brew Stop with the new RT-mobile, well got to brew/spill coffee on the tailgate at sometime. What would I have done without Royal Mail boxes? Iceman, note the engine cover.

Some very artistically painted honking big release gates on a very full hydro reservoir, and this was taken from the road in front of the dam. No traffic lights to warm you they are about to open, just listen for the roar.

Rudolph is on the loose again, trying to get as far south before Chrimbo as he can so Santa will chose someone else.
Plus when it rains here it certainly rains!! Helps clean the bugs off the windscreen. That, MrH, is why I'm not leaving the sunroof open to let the spilt beer smell out.
Light Bluie (long story) crossing the Arctic Circle going south. Again no marching bands & fireworks but a nice explanation as to why the circle isn't fixed. She's going to get a moose sticker attached to her tailgate in honour of her first Arctic Road Trip/Rescue Mission.

It was more so the foam sound proofing stuff I was keen on
Loving the pics, I've got a little thing for reservoirs and that one was definitely different!!
Is new Dee or just Dee now I guess going to become the full time road trip vehicle?

The foam comes with the complimentary plastic bit.
Just Dee I think, yet to decide how much convention to do on her, tempting to keep her pretty standard but with just the load deck in place rather than seats.

That's all good, I was just worried you had the plastic but not the foam
Makes sense, what else did you have on old Dee that may be worth adding to Dee? The obvious one being the split charge but not so easy to do on a D4 is it?

Lots of stuff but not thought yet about what to do to Dee yet. Need to let the mental dust settle first then figure out what I want from Dee over and above just daily transport.

I can't even remember a sign on the way up from Luleรฅ to Kiruna re Arctic Circle, either to focussed/stresses on the way up or it's not a tourist route. At least I had legroom!!!
3 days left. 420, 480 then 480 miles then at the Tunnel then home. Just in time for BOGOF offer from local pizza place on Monday!
PS And lunch will be very nice, just got to find the serviettes to smuggle some of these bad boys out.

PS And looks like a lovely day, view from breakfast room showing Dee ready to go.
