The old Viggen on the E4 at Söderhamn is looking very good, looks like a new paint job, she was a bit faded last time.

We'll I tried the conventional approach to getting milk and headed into the Lidl at Sala where I needed bit of fuel anyway to get me to Dk. Headed straight out. A queue up the isle to the single open checkout, maybe a dozen in it and half of them with full trollies, all being "served" by a bored looking youff who was going slow as she could til her shift was over. Reminded me why I don't use Lidl in U.K. Why oh why do they put in half a dozen checkouts if they only ever use one?
So black coffee it is, now off into the boot to find those 3 chocolate mini muffins I liberated from the breakie buffet.

Just two days to go til home, really looking forward to it but not the 1,041 miles to get there. At least I'll be on most of the Autobahn sections on Sunday so no trucks. Just N of Hamburg tomorrow, then the last push for home.

Any unrestricted autobahn? Going to give the secondary turbo a good workout? Can't do it in the Uk!

Yes, lot of unrestricted 2 lane Autobahn down to Hamburg, where you are doing 75mph getting round trucks and some loon in a Merc or Porker is doing 150mph bearing down on you as if you weren't there. No, I won't be joining them, I want to get home in one piece, besides the car is fully loaded so braking from speed would not be very pretty.

Bootiful day here, just polishing off breakie before the off. Early breakie before the hundreds of youffs decend after their concert last night. Maybe.
Milk problem solved, cup on the left. The cup on the right, full of coffee, has been in pretty much solid use for the whole trip and has just won an award for biodiversity in the micro-life category.

Anyone know the max weight of a D4? I'm at 3,000kgs with a full tank according to traffic station weighbridge, should be fine.

Think you'll have to hang fire on the 6 slices of Stollen if you want to be under weight.

Enough capacity for a few more slices of cake!!
200 miles to hotel north of Hamburg, getting there in spite of a mega jam that Goog Maps took me neatly around. LR SatNag knew nothing about it, but that might be coz the TMS is still locked to Belgium.
