I didn’t do the heated wheel conversion but know reading it looks abit of a mindfield
Is it the case of just finding the correct year ecu for it or more involved

On the heated wheel I'm not sure TBH. It could be the ECU or the new heated clockspring or the wag I've wired it but the ECU is my first point of call. I've spent so much money so far I need to get it working!

Hi
May i ask plse did u check the CCF settings for the wheel
Did u also fit the other loom that is specified on the BBS pcb instructions , when I bought the look it looks as though it has an extra red wire , for the lighting of the switches
Don’t know how much that is , pretty sure my wheel was a 2012 but alas not heated

Finally managed to source the side vent I wanted for the D3.
I'd crudely painted the old one to make it fit in with the black theme a while back and after a quick tug out with the old and in with the new. Very happy with how it looks

Got a few maintenance bits done on the Disco yesterday.
Had an oil service as it's been 12 months since the last one. Swapped out the rear wiper motor as the old one was dead and my mechanic found the time to swap out the damaged inner and outer CV gaitors on the fronts as they were flagged on the MOT in Feb.
Got a new lower tailgate to fit (mine is scratched and managed to pick up a perfect condition used one) and some mirror covers with built in indicators and that will be the car as good as I think I can get it!

Delighted with a few recent additions. Got the Osram DRL's, wing mirror indicators and new lower tailgate (mine was badly scratched and had a dent!) fitted last week.
Everything works perfectly but like a few others I have to find a way to secure the fogs properly as they are cable tied in at the moment!

Mirrors look nice, reminds me somehow of Mercedes Benz mirrors.

Started to tackle the leak or shall I say flood this morning .
Definitely coming from the sunroof area but the drains seemed free flowing so had a good poke around after removing the wheel arch trim to get a proper view of it. When I dropped the from of the headlining down I got drenched there was so much water. When I pulled the carpet back there was probably 2.5 inches of water and the loom that runs down that side was underwater! Doesn't help that its shaped like a gutter and holds the water perfectly. Lucky a friend has a garage so it's in pieces drying out now after 2 hours with a wet vac. I must have pulled out close to 4 litres of water from the car.
Hopefully when it goes back together it will be leak free but that is a long way off until it dries out.

After a biblical amount of rain last night I'm not convinced this is fixed. Will drop the headliner again to see if its wet inside and dribbling down the A pillar.
Have to be honest and say after 18 months of owning the D3 and not a single big problem I've lost a little bit of faith in it and am considering changing it only problem being the only other thing I want is a D4! Nothing comes close to its practicality
