just a final question as thanks to Flack, it would appear that my bluetooth module is the culprit causing the dramas. Do I need a male or female fibre optic loop?

Hi Asagar,
I see that you're in California, how is the install on the US version of the Disco? Have you had any issues with Sirius radio? I'm ready to push the button but really like my satellite radio for when I'm out of town.
Best Stuart.

Ali Express is more the consumer portal rather than Alibaba which is more B2B
Navihua has had good reviews/communication and I used Yanav with similar experience. Yanav do offer a higher resolution screen than others though. Both offer support via WhatsApp to make things easier. RLD CB Bracket

I wouldn’t be surprised if most of them do, there can only be so many factories building these
The resolution does look really good and with the right films (encoded to higher res) is great to watch. RLD CB Bracket

Navihua is $ 625, 1536x2048, unsure if 4GB, 64GB, PX6 cost more. Cannot find out on the webpage.
Yanav cost $ 790 for 4GB, 64GB, PX6, 1536x2048
Also cannot find out if Carplay is included in both.
Can anyone explain the price difference. What is th difference between them explaining the difference? Discovery 4, MY2011, TDV6 Auto

Sooooo got the unit. Connected it! And there is no Bluetooth sound when I dial out or call comes in.
I also don’t have any sound when I am playing Bluetooth music or or Spotify or anything. Radio works fine.
Anyone have any solutions or recommendations? I was on chatting with the company reps for a few hours and no real help.
Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Hi, I am probably saying what you already know but you must connect to your auxiliary input socket with the supplied lead and then select aux in your Land Rover interface. Then go to the android interface, try the built in music app and see what happens.

Hi Andy. I did that. But I will send pics later today after work. May be I didn’t do the connection right.
However I did put it in aux on the rover interface but it still didn’t play anything. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

Asgar,
Which unit did you get, was it from Yanav store? That is where I got mine and had a frustrating couple of days back and forth with the tech guys through the messaging on AliExpress site.
But this is what I have experienced and learned;
When I connected mine up, the 'image' of the original LR radio / touchscreen controls was not centred in the upper part, this was sorted through the Install (I think) sections of the settings controls on the unit, I had to enter 666888 as the code though to get all the detail settings.
My audio 'input' kept defaulting to DAB instead of AUX so no matter what I did, I had no audio from the unit. In the Install settings, I was able to change a setting from auto to manual - don't ask me which one, sorry. But this allowed me to select Aux when in the CONSOLE or 'original' LR Audio interface, then I could use Carplay or whatever other app on the new unit. Have not yet worked out how to get it to automatically do that, but the setting is there, I just need time to sort it.
What I was disappointed with was that the Mode button on the steering wheel no longer allows me to switch Audio sources, the tech guys have said I should and I think I just need to play with the settings a little more to sort.
Overall, I am now happy, but was disappointed initially as the above issues seemed to me that there was something wrong with the unit. But it was just a case of tweaking a few settings. But mine seems to be the exception as I have been in contact with a couple of the guys on here who did not really have issues.
Re the bluetooth, mine works fine but am using CarPlay most of the time, didn't really like the way the android stuff handled it. I am also using the original LR bluetooth connection and interface when using radio etc.
So, in summary, if you have not already got into the deeper settings, then try that but I would recommend reaching out to the tech guys to go through what they recommend.
For others, the above seems very complicated but once it is set up, it is great!!
