There are two types of touch screens fitted to the D4,Denso and Bosch,you need to be sure that your new head unit is compatible with your existing.Get your supplier to confirm this before committing.

Cheers for the heads up.
On the description, in broken English, the supplier appears to state it is plug and play for both Bosch and Denso.......though shows a picture with the Small screen fitted to GS D4's as not being compatible.
I have an MY2014 HSE with the large display currently.....though am unaware wether it is Bosch or Denso at the moment.......I shall check paperwork in the hope of finding out.

You need to be certain that it will fit.If the supplier declares the full value you will have a hefty import duty and vat bill.Returning items to China is nightmare scenario.Ask all the relevant questions ,insist on crystal clear answers.

Overall doesn’t look bad at all, although the screen resolution does seem to be lower than others I have seen and certainly lower than the one I have ordered. This may be where they are saving cost on the screen and might not be a problem to get the lower cost. The rest does look to be very similar if not exactly the same specification.... hard to tell really.

It’s the same as mine, 1280 x 800, apart from the processor everything else looks pretty similar.

So just received the unit which came super quick from them via DHL. The package arrived super well packed, double boxed, and completely covered in tape/plastic so well packaged.
FYI, the screen resolution of the unit I purchased is 1536*2048, so higher resolution than the others mentioned here, which may account for some of the price difference. I will be checking/confirming this first thing when I power up the unit. Quality-wise it looks spot on so far, no concerns from looking at it or with the cables, all look as you would expect, and no red flags.
Weather dependent, I'm likely going to start on installing this tonight so will aim to take as many pictures as possible. One thing I did notice is the cable connectors certainly don't look as complicated as other car installations I've seen on YouTube, so other than linking the old head unit board to the new screen, it should be fairly OK to install.
Once I've done the install and we can all have some confidence it is working well, I'll post the link to the supplier/unit on AliExpress then. BTW duty was handled correctly by supplier and paid online with DHL.RLD CB Bracket

BTW, when I purchased mine the supplier did check with me in detail about the head unit and had me check whether it was a resistive or capacitive screen, and send them a picture of the main menu screen.RLD CB Bracket

Evening all, well it’s in and working well. Didn’t get chance to do many photo’s as it got dark and started chucking it down with rain.
That being said it was really easy and no problem at all to do, especially compared to other upgrades I’ve done.
I need to finish off a few bits on it including sticking/securing the GPS antenna, finding a good spot for the two USB ports and routing the aux lead through properly. Unfortunately time, light and weather didn’t play ball tonight.
Wireless CarPlay works really well on it 👍

Fast work. I used usb ext cables and ran them into the cubby. I Used two of these cables to split the existing car gps and dab aerials. I found this original gps gave better signal.

Just remembered I also had to use this for the gps as it must be angled to fit under the dash
And one of these adapters to fit the splitter

One question for you Andy, does your Air Con work from the screen? Or just from the LR buttons? The screen shows the right information but doesn’t change when I press the screen.
I’ve not done any setup, config other than install Spotify to test audio, so might be a quick setup fix or just how it works on LR. Not a problem either way to me.RLD CB Bracket
