That would make life boring though. As the saying goes, ONE LIFE, LIVE IT
I always wanted to own a unicycle, not use it, just own one so I could say I owned 1, I ticked that off my list in January
Who knows what I will end up buying next. But for now the Escort Van project is more of a keeper.
But that means I really need to get off my backside and complete the projects I am building up.
I have another trailer actually in my back garden, the blue D3 that needs an engine transplant, and many other smaller projects around including my rear garden looking like a building site as I started digging a trench
But thanks to Covid, Unless this country gets back to normal within the next 3-4 months, to put it bluntly, I will be well and truly and I will be forced into selling all but 1 of my cars as another business I am involved in which was surviving this pandemic and has been going longer than I have been alive, is now on its last legs and will see a 3rd of my income vanish and put me in a position where I will be lucky to recover and may end up having to declare bankruptcy. And I am more confused than ever by the lockdown rules
I was hoping to rest for at least 1 week after my 1st vaccine shot, but money is soo tight at the moment that any opportunity to make money trumps my health. This trailer though although I laid out cash for it, actually owes me nothing as I bought it with profits from another venture and I know I can easily sell it on again in the future and use it as it is now.

Not enough room really on the drive, so have had to take the trailer down to the storage yard where my other Discovery is. I need to get my other trailer sold by the 9th April at the latest so I can bring the van trailer home.

Finally got a bee in my bonnet today, got woken early by someone who arrived 2 hours early to collect something and literally woke my up in bed which put me in a bad mood, then I received an offer on ebay for my trailer, not as much as I wanted, but it gets the trailer out of my way from tomorrow so I can bring my other trailer back to start working on. But decided to get the D4 rear light guard brackets made up. So I did. All I have left to do is drill 2 holes in each bracket and paint them. Then I will look at fitting the guards to the car probably next month. I know they aren't perfect, but they will be out of sight

Good call Bubblehead, bit restrictive on load though considering the trailer will probably weigh in at over a tonne empty

I fancy the challenge of putting another engine in the blue D3 to be honest, and I will want an auto again at some point. But current big trailer is now sold, so I am collecting the Escort van trailer from storage on Tuesday to bring it home. I was going to grab it today as I was only 8 miles from the storage facility where I delivered the trailer I sold but the owner was leaving as I rang to ask if I could come. So Tuesday it is.

I meant sale, not to break it I have put the blue one up for sale on other websites now, just awaiting confirmation of what is happening with Herbie the HSE that I should be getting. I have with a heavy heart handed the keys over of my Freelander to my partner, we getting rid of the Agila, and taking it from there. My partner doesn't really want the Freelander so will have to see what happens with that, may well end up selling that too in a month or so But if I am going to be getting under motors again throughout summer, I want them to at least have the proud green oval badge. or black and silver by the time I have changed them Wish I had taken a photo of poor old Herbie. If I get him, that will be a story I tell in his diary. But the Tonga green D3 isn't going anywhere just yet.

Feeling frustrated, so trying to keep myself occupied about the outcome of tomorrow, I went and got myself another roof box, no idea why and then sanded and primed one part of the trailer project. Tomorrow I have to call big yella to come and give an offiicial diagnosis of gear linkage problem for the Agila so I can take it or have it recovered to the garage so I can then bug the garage about the silver D3 and now trying to free up as much cash as I can ahead of the potential deal. So far got £40 together I want to raise about £1500. If the car deal falls through, then I can atleast get the handbrake fixed on my green D3

Latest agreed impulse deal
Was supposed to be confirmed today but the garage couldn't get hold of the owner today, so having to wait, but I have agreed a deal anyway.
