D4 prices seem to be strong |
|
2013 D4 HSE 89k on clock just gone on sale near me for a shade under £18k
prices must be really really strong or the dealer is chancing his arm
Hes had a 2014 Freelander 2 HSE LUX for few months now which is at a good price but I think the Black with Ivory interior is putting people off. Looks nice but a to keep clean both in and out. 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

Very true dealerships don't have to try offer poor part exchange then overpriced on forecourt.
Marshalls sold all 4 on their website this week even a 2016 lux for tad under £38k with I think under 30 k miles even at time was a higherc price than 8 newer D5s on website...

Dealers are telling me there is a shortage of second hand cars as most of them sold off a lot of their stock at the start of the lockdown last year
My neighbour put two cars on autotrader on Tuesday and the phone did not stop, He has viewings today and the cars will be gone this weekend by the interest he gas got. He bought himself a Tesla model 3 so needs the space on the drive to get to the charger . Faultmate MSV-2

The last of the D4’s will always command strong money now IMO, especially any low mileage/owner ones.
It’s the last of proper ladder chassis Land Rover and nice big rear doors etc. Defender 110 2.4 TDCi Utility Station Wagon.

Wonder what my 2016 HSE (ad-blue) with 27,000 miles and full LR service (one owner - me) would go for...? 2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

personally I feel 18k for a 2013 HSE is a bit OTT in spite of the lower mileage (89k). I would put it about 15k at the current prices but then im not a dealer and im sure someone will pay the screen price on it.
Its been modded with black grill, vents, newer style gloss black alloys so I wonder if its an ex forum car (last 3 of registration EHR) 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

OK - my local LR dealership are looking at £27,850 - not seen properly and WBAC around £1000 more... again unseen.
But it is 'mint' for a coming up 6 year old.... with quite a few factory and LR dealership extras.... not that seems to make much difference...
Anyway ... too much hassle to sell privately and life's much to short to fuss over a £1,000 or even more I figure... 2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

Hi,
prices seem to be all over the place
there are 3 FL2's on autoT for over £20k RogB you swapped tooooo early
and wbac may actually be the best place to sell at the mo, I thought their prices came from real auction results and they are offering good money,
I am even tempted to sell our main car and had planned to keep that another 2 years yet

please don't say that I swapped too early, I really miss my D4 dealer sold it for £500 less than I paid for it 18 months and 15k miles prior.
but financially it just made so much more sense to move it on now. Im putting £50 a month into the Kia and 38mpg instead of £100 into the Disco and 20mpg, and ive got 4 year free warranty, free service, free MOT 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

there is yes, its ok but nothing as good as this or Freel2.com ...why? you trying to get rid of me?
I got a jokey slating on the Kia forum when I mentioned how cheap the running costs are, as apparently some people on there feel that a major service for £330 is too expensive 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

Values must be holding up.
My 2014 D4 XXV at 58k has 10k more miles on it than when I bought it (privately at 47k) and WBAC has an online value at £26250 which is £250 more than I paid last June....
Mind you, I've sunk a fortune in mods and bits n bobs into it so it's a keeper but does make you think... Jim
