"When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die! You don't know who's children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"

Well, to my astonishment my original post has promoted a huge response and of high quality. I’ve learnt some interesting things about ancient societies and their views. I’m also happy to say I’m a member of a forum that is progressive in thought, can debate on many views, are tolerant of others ( mostly) and even though many do not understand the binary movement they are willing to accept that some people are different from what’s considered the ‘norm’. Some achievement for a spanner wielding bunch of oily mechanics.
For those interested my wife only hit me once but I did lose all my front teeth! Note to self - send wife’s passport renewal off with loads of mistakes! DSL will explain......😅

Likewise. Unexpected result in somewhat controversial topic on a web forum. There is hope in the world yet.
