Isn’t Diego Garcia also bojo’s problem, assuming the Americans stay true to form and jump in their C-17s at the first sight of a Chinese warship.

It's interesting to see the US and UK doing their "freedom of navigation" stuff in the South China Sea, and decrying Chinese moves in the area. There we are with our islands taken from their native inhabitants saying that the Chinese are being naughty in their actions. Yes, and there is increasing international pressure to hand it back to the natives. Or rather, Mauritius wants it. I doubt they'll let the Chagos people go back there if they eventually get control of it.

Can’t find the link but read today that the baby girl born in the US C-17 on tarmac at Ramstein is being named Reach after the aircraft’s callsign. Good job she wasn’t born a day or so earlier so earlier on the flight from Kabul to UAE. Moose doesn’t have the same ring.
