Errm, the NAV unit might well have its own Paul or it might simply get data off the BUS as it were, but the sensitivity is there.

You mean "too much Information" jdhx
I do have a penchant for lengthy posts, but then i am a programmer, and so i type faster than many others might. But i do have another factor, that is perhaps not translated in communications via forums.
You see, i figure many members likely write their posts from a desk at home, work or other. Probably with the rain and wind outside most the time.
Sub consciously, i expect that they might imagine and visualize that i must be writing my posts in much the same environment. In which circumstances, it would of course seem a bit sad for someone to spend so much time crouched over a keyboard making a post.

Sometimes however, the picture drawn by the imagination may be somewhat different from the reality.

Just in case you are wondering. Yes that is really me, and I am actually working. In fact in this picture, i am testing our software via a wireless connection on the L322 behind me.

It just occurred to me.
Wireless communications are handy, and yes we may well have rugged tablet PC's but i would hate for anyone to jump to the conclusion that we did all of our testing while sitting on a beach !!!

Just checked some documentation and yes - the Nav unit has a piezoelectric gyroscope which it uses (along with wheel speed sensor and GPS receiver data) to calculate vehicle speed....

Not much use as a spirit level then Embarassed

The only one I can see that may be working on a laptop is wearing a black swimsuit and has her back to the camera......

I may have secrets but thats definitely not one Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

I am the one in the middle in blue shorts & sun glasses holding a tablet PC.

I figure that when in tunnels etc the Nav unit needs to keep up to date with movement & direction rather than G forces.
