30 quid for events per member is a bit steep. The site I mod on attends a few events. The insurance for any event that the forum attneds is about 120 a year. So there will be well in profit for thi.
To me it smacks as an insult to Martin and all the mods on here. Is there room for another D3/4 forum. Will they offer so much more than is provided here??HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

nothing wrong with enterprise, can't see it affecting this site though. I can open the link but nothing works on it. The last club I paid for I received a badge, wallet, and a signed picture of Madonna.......now that's value Badda bing.......How you doin'?

So if I pay £30......what do I get. Another sticker to go under the Disco3.co.uk, and a signed photo of the owner
I can see the friendship pack now, with a wallet sized pic of Neil

Until such time as the new club's website is operational, it is speculative to muse on the value or otherwise of the membership fee.
This forum is free of charge; donations are welcome, but far from either complusory or even encouraged.
It is not appropriate for the new club to pedal their wares here, so suggest everyone contains their excitement until the new operation is open for business.

Donations encouraged ... yes ... but no more than that. It's a free site to all who don't wish to contribute.

I don't think that you will find the word "encourage" used that much. As NJF says, welcome: yes.
