I'm interested but the instructions posted so far are rather off-putting. I guess I need one of the forum gurus to make sense of it all before I would feel ready to commit as I don't think I have the skills required.
Really want the ability to trigger the FBH in this way though!

Robbie, You could buy the kit and then get a local Autoelectrician to fit it, which I might do once I see how involved it is.

Danhag, In the manual you say that the gear lever trim needs to be removed but one photo shows the naked dash with the gear lever trim in place. Is it really necessary to remove the gear lever trim.
With an autobox, it can be a pain to remove as some clips easily break off.

Another quick question, is the kit the same for the ones with rear air con as those without?

This needs to be finalised soon otherwise spring will arrive and I'll not need the thing anymore. Loving the power of the TDV8!

Yes Va, I know I'm putting pressure on Danhag to come up with the order link soon.
Thursday they emailed me they would post a link to a specially set up shop page for our deal where we can order the kit individually, was hoping it would be up by now.
I will phone them again tomorrow.

Now that I know I can use it with the webasto timer I'm in for the GSM unit.
Flydive also confirmed in a pm that you can get one which is compatible with the Webasto timer and just controls the HVAC unit so you don't need the added expense of the GSM unit.
Flydive please count me as confirmed.

I'd be keen to find out more (ie, the costs) for getting one that worked without the GSM part! Mobile phone coverage is a bit poor here so one that could use the timer and a cheap RF unit would be perfect!
Thanks, Mark.

I just send the "special" order link to Gabriele from this forum.
Please send this link only per e-mail or PM to people which are interested to place an order to the conditions of the group-order. The link will be activ until the 20.12. The price is based on at least 20 orders. We will ship the items as soon as we reached this certain amount. However, you can still place an order at the Web-shop to the regular price.
Regards, Andor (www.car-chief.com)

When I just order the D3 forum kit, I go to Warenkorb (Shopping basket) but there is no way to continue to step 2 in the ordering process.
Only when I add another product I get a button "Weiter zum naechsten Schritt" i.e. Next.
But I just want to order the kit and need nothing else.
What to do?
I made an account and it shows I am logged in.
There is a line just beneith the basket saying minimum order amount is €15,-
I am way beyond that.
