Only point to add is that if you get a small, thin flat head and push it along the line of the two 'slots' on the top you will feel the plug loosen, it then just slides out. Until I susse that it was impossible, but when i did that a 2 second job.
Nice

Hi all.
Just completed this mod as well.
It took longer to get the passenger door to unlock with the key (it was siezed , required some wd40 and abuse) than it did to remove the plug.
Thanks for the info!

when I got my Disco I was gobsmacked at how poor the alarm is so will definitley be attempting this at the weekend.
Anyone know how long the battery will support the horn sounding before it is too flat to start the engine?
I'm presuming the sounder has its own little battery and would keep on fa ing if the vehicle battery was disconnected by a thief. What we really need is a LOUD battery-backed sounder that can be fitted as a replacement.
What do you alarm engineers out there suggest?A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Alarm only sounds for a set period of time before re-setting itself. If you unlock the car and the indicators flash quickly, then you know that someone has set it off Bodsys Brake Bible
That assumes it is still where you left it when you go to unlock! A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
