yes, try to find a 20-50KΩ photoresistive sensor (or any such sensor with close values to that - it worked fine for me) and a 43KΩ resistor (or similar in the mid of the 20-50KΩ range).
Looking at my picture in page 23 of this post, the "free" leg of the sensor goes into the "light sensor voltage in" position, the leg with the resistor is the one with the signal out (Vout) and goes into the "signal voltage after sensor" position while you can use as ground pins 14 or 15 of the adjacent unused connector (where the black wire goes in my picture) or the screw below, right next to the right of the main connector (pls use a multimeter to confirm it).

If I remember well the brown fakra connector is for the rear view camera and the green connector is for the TV/DVD.

I'm still confused on the wiring. The photoreceptive sensor has 2 legs on it. One goes to the light sensor voltage in and the other goes to the signal voltage after plug. Does one end of the ground wire connect to the other end of the resistor that's attached to the leg of the photoreceptive sensor and then to ground? In your photo(3rd one down from the top) the ground wire doesn't look like it's connected to anything.

You are right, I confused you.
Look at this photo which I found very helpful when doing my wiring
The "free" leg (red) goes into the "light sensor voltage in" position, the other sensor leg (yellow) is the one with the signal out (Vout) and goes into the "signal voltage after sensor" position while the other end of the resistor is ground (black).
So in my photo (3rd one down from the top) the black wire would be connected to the other end of the resistor that's attached to the leg of the photoreceptive sensor.
